Our Services

Protect Your Home, Your Memories, and Your Asset Value.

Your property is your most valuable asset. In the face of changing climate patterns, standard insurance is often not enough.

FloodLine provides a physical layer of security that insurance policies can't: keeping the water out.

For residents along the Rivière des Prairies and the St. Lawrence, the spring thaw is a predictable but high-stakes event. Our Seasonal Prevention program creates a watertight perimeter around your home for the duration of the risk period (typically April to June).

Phase 1: Pre-Season Assessment (February-April)

  • We conduct a topographical survey of your property to determine water ingress points and calculate the linear footage of barriers required.

Phase 2: Professional Installation (April)

  • Our technicians arrive before the ground saturation peaks. We install proprietary industrial water-filled tubes, anchored by the weight of the water itself.

  • Debris Deflection: We install protective geomembranes to shield the barriers from river ice and floating debris.

Phase 3: Active Monitoring (May)

A FloodLine technician visits your site to:

  • Check internal barrier pressure.

  • Inspect for tampering or wildlife damage.

  • Adjust the perimeter based on updated flood forecasts, if needed.

Phase 4: Removal & Storage (June)
Once the water recedes, we drain the system, power-wash the equipment, and transport it to our facility. We store and maintain dedicated systems year-round, so they are ready for next spring.

Emergency Response

Montreal’s aging infrastructure is increasingly overwhelmed by high-intensity "flash" rain events. For many homeowners—especially those with reverse-slope driveways, basement walk-outs, or low-elevation entries—the threat isn't the river; it’s the street.

When the city’s sewer system reaches capacity, surface water can cascade into your home in under 30 minutes. FloodLine provides the critical window of defense you need to keep your basement dry and your foundation secure.

Our emergency response team is built for speed. Unlike traditional sandbagging, which requires hours of back-breaking labor, our water-filled barriers can be deployed and activated in a fraction of the time.

Our Speed-to-Site Strategy:

  1. Predictive Mobilization: When Environment Canada issues a severe rainfall warning (>50mm), our crews pre-stage in high-risk boroughs.

  2. Rapid-Fill Technology: We use industrial-grade gas pumps to fill your barriers instantly, using the threat’s own element to create a heavy, immovable seal.

  3. Turnkey Execution: We handle the positioning, the pumping, and the post-storm cleanup. You don’t need to be home for us to protect your property.

Deployment is subject to current resource availability and crew proximity. While we strive to reach every Montrealer in need, we strongly recommend our Preventative Service for those in high-risk zones.

Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal Continuity

For a business, multi-unit residential complex, or municipality, a flood is more than just water damage—it is an operational shutdown. One breached underground garage can result in millions of dollars in totaled vehicles and catastrophic damage to building mechanicals.

FloodLine provides a professional, industrial-grade defense that ensures your property remains functional and your liability is minimized.

High-Value Asset Protection
We specialize in shielding the critical infrastructure that keeps you running:

  • Underground Parking Garages: We deploy specialized barriers at the crest or base of parking ramps to prevent street-flow from cascading into vehicle levels.

  • Elevator & Mechanical Rooms: Our systems create a watertight seal around the "heart" of your building, protecting expensive electrical panels and HVAC systems from submerged failure.

  • Loading Docks & Warehouses: Rapid-fill barriers secure shipping hubs, preventing inventory loss and maintaining supply chain continuity.

Critical Infrastructure Resilience
FloodLine is equipped to support the high-uptime requirements of municipal and utility providers. Our non-invasive, rapid-fill technology is the ideal solution for protecting the "grid":

  • Power Substations & Utility Hubs: We provide perimeter defense for electrical transformers and water treatment controls. Our barriers require zero ground penetration, making them safe for use around sensitive underground cabling.

  • Data Centers & Telecom Exchanges: In an era of constant connectivity, we protect the cooling systems and backup generators that keep data flowing, ensuring regional communication remains uninterrupted.

  • Transportation & Transit Hubs: We secure subway entrances, bus terminals, and rail yards, preventing water ingress from paralyzing city transit during extreme rainfall events.
